Eastern Poland is known to be less urbanised and developed then central and western areas of the country, and so is Polesie – a wild area characterised with many marshes and rivers that are a great habitat for animals. Tourist cannot count on so good living conditions - accommodation offer is rather narrow as hotels in Polesie are really rare. Alternately, you could search other types of accommodation, such as ecotourism or private rooms. Hotels in Chelm and Wlodawa can be also a good starting point to explore Polesie.
