Generally, hotels in Tatra offer wide range of accommodation but the undisputed leader of the hotel market in Tatra is Zakopane. Hotels in Tatra are characterised with scenic neighbourhood and quite often they are built in traditional style resembling typical wooden highlander architecture. Polish highlanders are known for their original folk traditions and hospitality, so you may expect that a stay in a hotel in Tatra Mountains would be a nice experience. Most of the Tatra hotels have 2- or 3-star standard, but there are also some comfort and superior hotels. Tatra is mostly visited by hikers and skiers who also look for other types of accommodation. Apart from hotels in Tatra they can find there mountain hostels, guesthouses and private rooms.
