Hikers can choose any one of the hiking trails leading within National Park borders. From the top of Trzy Korony you can admire panorama of the neighbourhood and, if the weather is clear, also the Tatras. Excellent views of the Dunajec gorge can be found from the top of Mt Sokolica.

arrowCycle   
There are two marked routes cross the national park, one along the Dunajec River to Slovakia. Outside national park borders, you can use also other paths and roads. There are bike rentals in Szczawnica, Czorsztyn, Niedzica and Kroscienko.

arrowHave a raft trip  
This is an unforgettable adventure that shouldn’t be missed if you visit the Pieniny Mountains. The trip starts from Sromowce-Katy and finishes in Szczawnica or Kroscienko. The Dunajec River lures many canoeists throughout the season.

arrowSki  
The best skiing conditions are offered in Szczawnica and Czorsztyn. There is a chair lift to Palenica, a short downhill and a snowpark, plus several platter lifts and T-bar lifts. In Czorsztyn, you should enjoy the skiing on Mt Wdzar with its chair lift and halfpipe, or on some shorter slopes. Smaller downhills can be found in Niedzica

arrowSightsee  
There are interesting old churches ready for you to discover in Grywald, Sromowce Nizne and Kroscienko. There is also an ancient Orthodox church in Jaworki. Highlights of the area are Czorsztyn and Niedzica castles, both perched on the hills around the artificial Czorsztyn Lake. Czorsztyn castle, now ruined yet nevertheless picturesque, was built in the 14th century as a counterpart to the Hungarian Niedzica fortress.

arrowRelax in a health resort  
Both in Kroscienko and Szczawnica have natural springs of sour mineral waters, so these two places have been known as health resorts since the 19th century.

arrowTry water sports  
Czorsztyn Lake was created at the end of the 20th century by building a dam across the Dunajec River. Around the reservoir are many water equipment rentals, offering canoes, boats, yachts and pedalos for rent. You can also take advantage of two guarded beaches. The dam itself is also accessible to visit.

arrowVisit Slovakia  
There are several border crossings open for tourist traffic. Some attractive towns and sights are situated very close to the Polish border, including Stara Lubovna, Cerveny Klastor and Vysne Ruzbachy.

A raft trip along Dunajec gorge is an opportunity for an extraordinary amount of fun that will be remembered for a long time. You can also go to the top of Palenica by a chair lift, open all year long, or enjoy the summer slide on Mt Szafranowka.
