Горце

arrowCycle and horse-riding
There are plenty of trails for bikers; some of them leading to the peaks of Gorce, including Turbacz, Obidowiec and Groniki. The Gorce Mountains offers great opportunities to go riding on horseback.

arrowSightsee
If you want to experience something of the area, try visiting Ochotnica Dolna, Tylmanowa, Rabka or Nowy Targ to see their beautiful wooden churches, part of the Trail of Wooden Architecture. You can also visit a chapel on Jaworzyna Kamieniecka or drop in to the village museum in Rabka.

arrowSki
If you want to practise your skiing somewhere away from the normal, then why not try Poreba Wielka (more precisely, in Koninki), Rabka, Szczawa or Nowy Targ? There is also a smaller ski lift under the top of Turbacz.

arrowImprove your health
The most popular health resort in the area is Rabka, which gained its fame during the interwar period. Known for its therapeutic saline waters, it is popular for assisting with the fight against children’s diseases. Another note-worthy spa is the village of Szczawa.

arrowHike
Gorce provides a dense net of trails, predominantly accessible for medium-experienced hikers. The longest one, Main Beskid Trail (red blazed), leads through the whole range of Gorce. Most of the trails meet at the top of Turbacz. The number of hostels on Turbacz and on Stare Wierchy, near Ochotnica Gorna, is limited but is adequate.

children ДЕТИ
We recommend visiting the Rabkoland Family Recreation Park in Rabka. Offering many unusual attractions, including toilet bowl racing, it provides a great time not only for kids but also for the whole family.
